The acoustic barrier is absolute, but the mechanism is invisible. 2. Acoustic Glazing: High STC ratings are now achieved using specialized transparent PVB interlayers within laminated glass. This allows for floor-to-ceiling glass partitions that provide the acoustic privacy of a solid brick wall while maintaining perfect optical clarity. 3.
